I hope and pray that this update finds you well. I have had many people ask me how the support is coming in, and I am thankful and excited to report that God is blessing the faithfulness of His people ~~ I am officially at the halfway point in my support raising! If things continue to progress, I will be able to attend the three months of training at JAARS (Wycliffe’s Aviation Branch) in September, and then continue on to begin service in Zambia in January of 2013.
Exciting things are going with Flying Mission in Zambia as well! On top of the normal flying that goes on at the base, called Chilongolo, they are building a new recreation center by the soccer field to house equipment and host meetings for the various outreach activities that meet on the base weekly. Also they have just completed another house and are continuing the work to finish the more spacious hangar/office facility. I can’t wait to get there so I can join in all that is going on! You can visit their site at http://www.flyingmission.org.
In the meantime, it has been fun to connect with people and share what I believe God has called me to. If you are one of the many people who have already supported me with finances and/or prayer support, THANK YOU, again!!
If you have been planning to move forward with support, but just haven’t gotten around to it, that’s great, too, because it will be you whom God will use to further the progress of the second 50% of my support. I am hoping to report 75% funding by my next newsletter! If you are in need of additional information, I would be glad to have you contact me. Please be in prayer that God will continue to provide the finances as well as continue to prepare me for the big transitions ahead.
May God bless until next time!
